Part 12

 Next day

 They left the hotel and lead back to Mumbai , they didn't talk to each other on their way,   

 khanak was just looking at shaan, she wanted to talk to him but shaan eyes were fixed on 

 the way.

 Khanak: shaan!!!!!!

 He ignores and just drive looking front

 Khanak: shaan!!!!!!!!!! woh ...kaal raat...( low tone and looked at him )

 Shaan's phone rang, he picked up the call

 Shaan: hello dad!!!!!!!

 Sunil: shaan kese ho beta,  waha saab thikh hai nah

 Shaan: yeah dad  m fine ,dad phone kyu kiya...

 Sunil: shaan kya baat hai khanak thikh hai nah...( worried ) kaabse phone kar 

 rahahu useh phone nahi lagta uska 

Shaan: pata nahi dad  aur yeah dad !!!!!! aur hum wapas arahehe

Sunil:  wapas!!!!!!!!!!!Shaan: dad apne jis kaam keliye hume bheja woh hogaya  aurapne party attend karneko kaha tha woh bhi hogai, toh aabh yaha rukneka  kya faida

Sunil sensed something is wrong in his voice

Sunil: think ha shaan, zara khanak se baat karwao .. he handles his phone to her without looking at her, khanak control her tears from rolling down her cheeks

Khanak: Jee Ada, aap kese ho aur gar par saab

Sunil: me thikh hu beta aur yaha bhi saab thikh hai , waha saab thikh hai nah...( worried hearing her sadness tone ) tumara phone kyu nahi lagraha

Khanak: jee ada sub thikh hai,  mera phone woh uski battery dead hogai 

Sunil: think hai beta

 Khanak end the call, she stay with his phone for few minutes with her thought

Shaan: phone ...( didn't look at her )

Khanak startled at his voice she looks at him and hand over his phone

Shaan drove the car and khanak steel glances at him, she was hurt more as he didn't talk to her

  Khandelwal house

They reach the house and harilal opened the door;  shaan didn't greet the

 members who  were seated  in the hall except Akshay, Riya and Jay were not there 

Madhvi : areh tum dono agaye , khanak came near them but shaan moved to his room .

Madhvi : shaan tume khush khabri deni hai  but he was gone,

Madhvi, dadi and sunil were shocked seeing his behaviour and they looked at each other

Madhvi looked at khanak whose face was frown but she didn't ask he anything

Khanak: bhabhi abh aap kese ho ...( concern hide her sadness and pain)

Khushboo: mein bilkul thikh hu...( smiling )

Madhvi: khanak,  khushboo bilkul thikh hai...( she came with sweets and feed khanak)

Khanak : maa yeh mithai......( confused )

Madhvi: apni bhabhi se pucho .....( smiling )

Khanak looked at Boo, khushboo was blushing

Khanak: bhabhi...

Boo told khanak that she is expecting, khanak forget her worries and was

very happy for Khushboo bhabhi , she hugged her

Khanak: bhabhi sachme...( smiling hugged her again)

Khushboo: nod ... ( blush)

Khanak: bhabhi mein bohut khush hu ....( smiling )

Khushboo: acha aabh jake fresh hoke ao phir dheer sari baate karenge

Khanak smiled and then excuse herself and lead to her room, she thought about shaan and then she got fresh

Sometime later

Shaan came from his room, he was ready for office, Sunil, dadi n Madhvi notice his strange behaviour

Sunil : shaan tum office jara heho ?  u must be tired and should take rest for the day .

Shaan : no dad i m fine and think i should leave now, woh eek important kaam hai office meh,  Actually he was hurt and if he sees

khanak, he wil be more frustrated

Sunil was at home as he didn't felt good  

Khanak was in the kitchen and when she came, he looked for shaan, boo told her, he has already left for the office 

Khanak left them and she rush to her room, she closed the door and started sobbing again

Sunil, Madhvi and dadi were worried

Dadi :  sunil inh dono ko achanak kya hua, jab yaha ha se gaithe toh kitne khush  the

Sunil n Madhvi  : ha maa, muje lagta hai  zarur kuch huwa hai

Sunil : maa muje lagta hai hume kuch aur shochna parega and they started talking Shaan in the office was not able to concentrate in his work, he just flipped the file with absent minded and thought about the previous night, how he rudely behaved with khanak. His trance broke when he heard a knock, he welcome the person on the other side and rise his head, it was Romit, Romit thought khanak was in shaan's cabin so he came there to meet her;

he wanted to talk about his marriage

Romit : hey shaan ! how r u man,  khanak yaha bhi nahi hai pure office me dhun rarahu usko, woh kya hai na ." he wanted to tellabout his wedding ." but shaan cut her off

Shaan : tume esa kyu laga ke khanak yaha hongi... he said rudely and Offended

before he start more, Romit phone ring,

Romit : Khanak!! Kaha ho yaar me tume yaha office me dhund rahahu and he kept talking to her

Before Romit came shaan was thinking how rudely he behaved with

khanak and he should say sorry but again his anger raised when he saw Romit.

shaan to himself  "agar khanak Romit se pyar karti hai toh why she didn't tell me, akhir hum best friends hai so why she hided from me.", he thought khanak has moved on ,in this past 3 years and he was still there for her ."

They kept calling each other but she didn't tell him about Romit

  Later that day, in the evening

All were chatting and shaan came to know about boo bhabhi, and he was very happy for Akki  for some time he forget what happen between himand khanak

They had dinner and sunil knew about Romit marriage as he told him earlier

After dinner all were seated in the hall and having desert 

Sunil to khanak

Sunil: khanak shaadi ki tayariya thikh se horarihe nai , woh Romit ne bataya muje

Shaan  was listening and got  shocked, he  looked at Khanak , at first time

that day he looked at khanak and khanak was waiting for his one glance

Khanak:  ha adda wo kaal shopping keliye jana hai

 In the office when romit was talking to khanak on phone, he told her about

 taking Jaanvi for shopping as he was busy in his work

Madhvi : toh phir aab hame bhi tayariya shuru kardeni chahiye, ( actual romit parents are no more, and he was close to khandelwal  so sunil thought they will be on groom side and get him married to Jaanvi )

Madhvi : aab shadi 10 din baad hai and we don't have time for preparation

Shaan looked at khanak, he remember khanak call conv, she was talking about 10 days

He looked at khanak very angrily and thought this was the limit, he took all wrong and thought khanak is getting married and no one informed him

Sunil to shaan :  shaan tumara kya khayal hai shadi ka u too have to take few charges  but shaan eyes were on Khanak

Sunil and dadi notice him

Dadi : arrey sunil agar shaan khanak ki madad nahi karega to aur koun karega Dadi thought if they both involve in preparation they will come close.

Shaan listened to dadi  and then excuse himself, khanak saw him and wanted to follow him,    but Madhvi called her and she kept telling about preparations

  At mid night

Khanak sleep was far away, she didn't speak to shaan the whole day , she thought to go to 

Pool side, she saw shaan there and thought it was a good chance to talk to him

Khanak kept her hand on shaan shoulder and call him slowly; shaan turn n saw khanak. Khanak : shaan tum yaha iss waqt.. she knows him very well, since their childhood when something bother him he used to come on Pool side. She notice shaan's teary eyes and become worried, she cupped his face. Shaan looked at her and thought of losing her came in his mind, he hugged her very tightly and tears roll down his cheeks, khanak was taken aback

Khanak : shaan kya huwa tum ... but shaan hugged her very tight, she tried to say something and broke a hug but shaan was too strong for her

Khanak : shaan kya baat hai please share with me... shaan broke the hug and looked at her, khanak cupped her face and kiss him on his Forehead, she wipes his tears, cool breeze was hitting them. Shaan caresses her cheeks and looked at her eyes with so much love , her

 hair was blowing on both their faces, shaan tuck her elegant strand behind her ear and drop his eyes on her lips, he touches her lips and khanak kept staring at him

He outline her lips and this time khanak didn't closed her eyes, she wanted to see him, stare into his eyes, she saw intense love in  his eyes for her.They were just staring at each other and non spoke a word, suddenly shaan jerk her and rub his hand on his hair, khanak was shocked and looked at him wide eyes

Shaan:  so miss khanak kapoor ,kesi chalrahahe tumari shadi ki   tayariya,  hope u enjoying very well, ohhh!!! Meh to puchnabulgaya how was your date, i mean your first date.
